In Revit 2014, the new user interface options enable you to configure the double-click behavior to edit Families, Sketched Elements, Views & Schedules on Sheets, Assemblies, Groups, and Component Stairs.
These default actions may be modified in Options -> User Interface -> Double-click options. In the Customize Double-click Settings dialog box you can specify double-click behavior for entering edit mode for the mentioned element types. Depending on the element type, you can choose to have double-click:
- Do nothing
- Enable editing of the element type properties
- Enable editing of the element (or in the case of Views/Schedules on sheets, double-click can activate the view)
