Revit 2014 - Displaced Elements

Displaced building design view in Autodesk Revit.

Architects, MEP and structural engineers, and contractors can create exploded views of any 3D view, including perspectives.

Exploded views can be used to illustrate the relationship model elements have to the model as a whole. This information can be used in construction documents to show design intent . In any 3D view (including perspective), model elements can be moved by using the Displace Elements tool. You use this tool to create displacement sets and move them along their X, Y, and Z axes to a specified distance away from the model. Then, you can draw paths  that connect these elements back to their original model location.

In Summary:  Visualize the building elements and how they are connected with the ability to create "exploded" 3D diagrams views.
